Chief Information Officer Named at Kennesaw State

Jeff Delaney is an established leader in higher education technology

Kennesaw State 福利在线麻豆 President Pamela Whitten has appointed Jeff Delaney as chief information officer, effective August 6.

Delaney, who has been serving as the 福利在线麻豆鈥檚 interim chief information officer since February, will be responsible for the strategic vision of the 福利在线麻豆 Information Technology Services division, forecasting and analyzing institutional needs and appropriate IT resource allocations and alignment.

鈥淎s interim CIO, Jeff has demonstrated his ability to lead a team and deliver results-oriented technology solutions,鈥 said Whitten. 鈥淗is professionalism and vision are assets that will continue to serve our students, faculty and staff.鈥

Delaney has more than two decades of experience in technology leadership for higher education, including positions as the associate vice chancellor for Information Technology Services with the Board of Regents of the 福利在线麻豆 System of Georgia, and as Savannah State 福利在线麻豆鈥檚 chief information officer.

Delaney earned his doctoral degree in executive management in higher education from the 福利在线麻豆 of Georgia, a master鈥檚 degree in information systems management from Georgia College & State 福利在线麻豆, and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in information systems from the 福利在线麻豆 of Maryland.
